With a milestone crossed at 9:50 AM, Feb 15th, after the very last assignment (Strategic Marketing) submission, I’m now in a state of quiet. MBA - it was probably the first milestone ever. The chosen one. The much sought after one.
The farewell party is over with the snaps bringing back memories of the last party ever of my student life (well...not sure about that though). Things we wanted to do since long – like going atop the tower and getting a glimpse of our scenic campus – again fell into the eleventh hour domain. The hockey stick phenomenon does have a profound impact on every facet of an MBA’s life.
With the no-dues form signed and company-to-be-joined confirmed, my hands are now empty with nothing to do. Well, there are loads of things to be done if one wishes to. But right now I just want to sit back and reminisce – about those wonderful two years of my life. The status messages of PGP08 batch on yahoo messenger over the last days on campus, all emanated the same sentiment but in different flavours.
Placements were simply amazing at IIMK this year. The various media reports are a testimony to this. Sure, my institute would be a force to reckon with in a few years to come. 3 cheers to IIMK!
A vacation at Goa kind of marked the end of all college masti. But the fun never ends for an MBA. Or does it?
